How the Star Seller Command Center turns this book into a usable recovery system

The workspace is the operational layer of the book. It helps you move from your situation to a shop-specific prompt without retyping the same facts 220 times.

1. Why a workspace

Prompts work best when they contain real numbers: your response rate, your shipping rate, your review average, the dates of your window, the orders that went wrong. Typing those facts into every prompt is slow and easy to get wrong. The Star Seller Command Center is a private, browser-based workspace that stores your details once and fills them into every prompt that needs them.

2. How it works

  • Choose your situation. Pick the stage closest to where you are: diagnose, recover, protect, prevent or scale.
  • Add your shop details once. Fill in the highlighted variables, such as your current figures and evaluation dates.
  • Review and copy. Read the personalized prompt, then copy it in one click into the AI tool you prefer.
  • Keep your records. Save answers, dates and numbers as you move through the stages.

3. What the highlighted details are

Each prompt contains variables, shown as highlighted phrases in the book and as fields in the workspace. Typical examples are the percentage of first messages answered within 24 hours, your on-time shipping rate, your review average and count, and the dates of the window Etsy is using. The workspace tells you what a good entry looks like, for example a date or a percentage, so that the prompt receives clean input.

What a good first session looks like

In your first session, spend about twenty minutes on the setup. Enter your current figures from the Star Seller dashboard, the dates of the window, the number of orders and messages in the period, and a short description of your shop and products. Then open the first diagnosis prompt, review the personalized version and copy it into your AI tool. By the end of the session you should have a scorecard that shows which metric is failing and by how much.

After that, return to the workspace each week. Update the numbers, run the prompt for the metric you are working on, and save the answer next to your notes. Over a few weeks you build a small, dated record of what you changed and what happened, which is the most useful thing you can have if you later need to explain your numbers or ask Etsy to review one.

Using the answers safely

AI tools can make mistakes. Treat every answer as a draft. Compare calculations with your own figures, check any statement about Etsy's rules against Etsy's current pages, and keep your own sign-off on anything that you send to a buyer or to Etsy. The prompts in this book ask the AI to check its own work, but the final check is yours.

4. Privacy and your data

Your details are saved in your own browser so that you can return to them. Do not enter passwords, payment-card numbers or government ID numbers into the workspace or into any AI tool. Review every AI answer against your Shop Manager figures before you act on it.

5. Members and previews

Members can preview and use a share of the book before purchasing and pay about 17% less when they buy. The list price of the book is $12.50.

6. Language editions

The first edition is in English. Other language editions are prepared separately and become available in the workspace as each one is ready. The book page lists the languages available today.

7. How it fits with the rest of the research

Use the workspace alongside the guides: diagnose which metric slipped, plan a qualifying-period recovery, and the articles on why the badge disappears and appealing a wrong metric. The book page has the full details.

Who it is for

The workspace suits any Etsy seller who wants to work through a badge loss in an organized way, whether you sell handmade goods, vintage items, digital downloads or print-on-demand products. It is also useful if you manage the shop with a helper, because you can share the same checklist and the same prompts without sharing your passwords. It is not a replacement for Shop Manager, which remains the source of truth for your numbers.

Educational guide only. Not legal, tax or financial advice. Independent of, and not affiliated with or endorsed by, Etsy. No badge recovery or outcome is guaranteed.
