1. Why a workspace
A prompt is only useful when it contains your real facts. Retyping your product category, your transaction counts, your carriers and your dates into every prompt is slow and easy to get wrong. The Seller Standards Command Center asks for each detail once, saves it in your browser, and fills it in wherever a prompt needs it.
2. What you enter
Typical details include your product category, the number of transactions or orders in your evaluation period, the number of open cases, your average order value, the carriers you use, your handling time, your next evaluation date and the number of people who help you ship. The book defines about sixty such details in all, and each prompt uses only the ones it needs.
3. How a prompt gets personalized
Inside the book, a detail you need to supply appears highlighted. In the workspace you choose a category, open a prompt and see your answers already in place. Where a detail is missing, the workspace shows it so you can fill it in. Many prompts also begin by asking the AI to request extra facts from you, such as your current defect rate or the breakdown of your recent cases, so keep your Seller Hub open as you work.
4. Shared details across prompts
Some details are shared. For example, one entry for monthly transaction volume feeds every prompt that needs it, and one list of your carriers is reused in the late-shipment and carrier-selection categories. This is what makes it quicker to move from diagnosis to recovery without starting again.
5. Check, copy and use
Review the personalized prompt, edit anything that is wrong, and copy it into the AI assistant you prefer. Read the answer critically. Compare numbers with your Seller Hub and with eBay's current seller standards pages. The workspace is a drafting aid, not an authority on eBay's rules.
6. Keep your records
Save the outputs that matter, with dates, in one place. When you return after the next evaluation, you will be able to compare what you predicted with what happened. The later categories of the book show you how to build a simple monthly tracking routine that fits in an hour a month.
7. Privacy and good practice
Your details are stored in your own browser. Do not enter passwords, payment card numbers or government ID numbers into the workspace or into any AI tool. Do not paste private buyer details beyond what is needed to describe a situation, and keep your own sign-off on anything you send in your name.
A short first session
On your first visit, spend ten minutes on the facts. Open Seller Hub beside the workspace and enter the figures it shows you: your transaction count, your current measures and your next evaluation date. Then enter the practical details: your carriers, your usual handling time and how many people ship for you. Once these are saved, open the first category and read the prompt with your details in place. If something looks wrong, correct the detail rather than editing the prompt, so that every other prompt benefits.
Choosing where to start
Pick the category that matches your situation today. If you do not know what went wrong, begin with the diagnostic categories. If you know the cause, go to the recovery categories. If your level is healthy and you want to keep it that way, the monitoring and preparation categories fit best. The diagnosis guide and recovery workflow explain which one applies.
Good habits for reading AI answers
An AI answer is a draft. Check every figure against your own records. If the answer states an eBay rule, compare it with the current wording on eBay's seller standards pages, because the rules change and differ by site. Ask the assistant to list what it assumed, and correct any assumption that is wrong. Keep the final decision with you, and do not send any message that you have not read and agreed with.
8. Languages, PDF and who it is for
The book is currently available in English, and the workspace reflects that. You can also request the complete PDF by email at any time. The workspace suits any eBay seller who wants to work through a seller level problem in an organized way, including sellers who share the work with a helper. It does not replace Seller Hub, which remains the source of your official figures.
